Mother, mother do hurry here
I must tell you what I saw
Little Sam fell off the bed
and broke his little paw
Father, father please do rush
I phoned the doctor, he's on the way
He said send Little Sam off to bed
He can not run or play
I will be the nurse, Mother
With of course your wise advise
Father, please bring home a puppy treat
I am sure Little Sam would think it, rather nice
Let me see..., yes, now
I have the Doctor's orders, signed
Of bed rest with plenty fluids, too
To guarantee Little Sam will run again
Next week with a paw as good as new...
