Can I keep him Mommy,
he followed me home today
I can teach him how to fetch,
and we can have so much fun at play
Look he has wings just like us,
I can teach him how to fly
I know he is a little bigger,
but he is such a cute little guy
See how well he sits,
and he listens to everything I say
Please Mommy can I keep him,
please say yes today
I will name him Dandy the Dragon
and a Dandy he will be
Yes, Dandy and I will be the best of friends
just you wait and see
We will fly across the sky,
with me in command
And we will be known as the greatest protectors
in all of this fairyland

ReplyDeletebkm i really enjoyed reading this poem and the avenue you chose to go with. I have one dreadful question though. Who will house train him and clean up after him? LOL It made me laugh and smile and we need that more often. Thanks for sharing and thanks for inspiring me to think outside my box.
